Weepy Eye and Congratulations!!

This morning we went to our new pediatrician, Dr. Ambibola Sode, to check on Lilly's weepy eye at the persistent request of her Kun-Yai and Ba-Jim. Dr. Sode confirmed what we thought all along, that it's a clogged tear duct. She advised us to give it time and if it continues, to see an ophthalmologist to pursue surgery! Here's a photo of Lilly making sure to protect her eyes from the sun's harmful rays. (Thank you Aunt Marie for the darling playsuit and sunglasses!)

A big congratulations to Aunt Marie! She has been hired by US AID and recently received her assignment to...Kathamandu, Nepal! She's still in D.C. for now going through training which includes learning the language, and then she'll probably leave us in early spring 2010 for a few years. Good luck Marie! We'll miss you!!

Congratulations and best wishes are in order for our friends Dave Palay and Melissa Marver! David proposed to Melissa earlier this week on the third anniversary of their first date!
