Our Little Lilly is turning one!

We celebrated Lilly's 1st birthday a few days early at Rhombus Guys Pizza with friends and family. The party was ladybug themed and Lilly was decked out in her party clothes (the ladybug collection from babyGap and her pearl necklace and a little bracelet). The plethora of red, black and white balloons were accented with big mylar ladybug balloons and a 1st birthday balloon. Of course Lilly had a ladybug cake too! (It actually pulled apart into individual cupcakes).
She loved the balloons and hanging out with everyone. She really enjoyed eating her cupcake and having everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to her. She wasn't so much into unwrapping presents but did like looking at and touching all of her gifts. She was more into holding the cards that came with the gifts, although she was clutching her new pink and rhinestone jelly sandals from Auntie Michael, Uncle Sam, Auntie Mady and Uncle Max for quite awhile.
Wings, breadsticks, pizza, beer, cookies and cupcakes were enjoyed by all and the party extended well into the evening since the Vikings were playing the Saints for a spot in the Superbowl.
