Baby and Bug

Week 19

We are officially in week 20 of baby Goodman #2 and tomorrow we find out if it's a boy or girl! While my belly button has popped and there's a belly - apparently there's not big enough of a belly bc people don't realize I'm pregnant unless I'm wearing tight clothes (like exercise tops). So does that mean I look like I'm just gaining weight? Ick. The baby is very active and fluttering/kicking around. I know it seems earlier than last time - but this time around I actually can tell the difference and know what it feels like. Brian and even Lilly have felt the baby kick! Lilly still wants to name the baby B-I-N-G-O, but she has also decided on Ian, just like Olivia's (the pig) little brother...I mean "little bother".

Lilly has been doing a lot of "imaginary play". When she was at Grandma's she played "going to the gym"... Grandma was "mommy", Lilly was the "daycare babysitter" and the doll was "baby".... she has also been playing "Mommy Has a Meeting" where she leaves the baby with a babysitter and she goes to a meeting. I feel really horribly guilty - it's just been a few busy weeks. The super highlight of going to Grandma and Grandpa's house is all the Barbies Grandma has. Lillybug cannot get enough of them! Lilly has also been "reading" books - telling stories from the pictures and memory. Can you tell we think our kid is a genius? AND she finally danced! A few weeks ago she danced at class after being bribed with a talking Woody the Cowboy (from Toy Story) doll. However, last Friday Grandma brought her to dance class and it was Princess Day. Lilly got to wear a Cinderella costume AND Grandma promised to take her to the waterpark. The kid kicked butt at dance class!
