Before Christmas Lilly discovered her first loose tooth. Excitement filled the air so much so that we even included it in this year's Christmas card. But it wasn't until this past Friday that her bottom left front tooth fell out. We girls were out to dinner since Brian was working late. All afternoon Lilly had been wiggling her tooth and the possibility of losing her tooth dominated the conversation. She had even decided before we got to dinner she would order soup so it wouldn't hurt her tooth. Well, she bit into her bread roll and out it came!
Fittingly, the book she brought home from school to read at bedtime was, "Little Bunny Loses Her Tooth". The tooth went in an envelope and under the pillow in anticipation of money, gift cards and a trip to Disney World. (Pretty high expectations for the Tooth Fairy!) Bing wanted in on the action and started checking her mouth for any loose teeth.
The next morning Lilly woke up to 8 quarters and an official certificate from the Tooth Fairy!
Our oldest is losing teeth but our youngest is getting tons of teeth coming in!
