Lake Ida Boil
We enjoyed the Outer Banks Boil Company's shrimp and crab boil from our vacation in Corolla so much, that Brian really wanted to have one at the lake for the Fourth of July weekend. Uncle Ed and Aunt Denise are visiting from Colorado so it was a full house. Brian called the OBX company for advice on the boil and they suggested getting the right kind of pot and layering the food. It was delicious. We had the exact same meal at the lake as we did at the beach: potatoes, corn, andouille sausage, shrimp and crab!
