Real Ultimate Shit Your Pants You Are Going To Be A Dad Power

My my, has it really been 3 weeks since the last post? Well, here's the skinny on the happenings of "thegoodmansnd".

First of all, we went to homecoming in Williamsburg. That was a sideshow if there ever was one. Chilly went to VA a week before me (the remainder of this post will be written from Brian's point of view). In the week that she was gone the baby decided to majorly grow - Chilly gained 8 lbs in one week! At any rate, back to homecoming. I decided to go a little later than Chilly, so she had already made arrangements to stay with "the birds". Bobby and I ended up crashing at the Governor's Inn, think Super 8 but really out of the way. The extra mile of walking was really great for the ankle I had just sprained, but what can a guy do but deal? All in all it was a good trip. We saw old friends, drank at the old delis, and had a chance to realize how old we really looked next to the young 'ins. Chilly's belly was the number one star of the weekend, drawing numerous ooooohs and aaaaahs and even a kiss or two (Bobby).

Meanwhile back at the ranch....ND has been uncharacteristically warm. 60's and 50's for the last week. The past week has seen Michael's 22nd birthday and Ron and Dana's departure from Grand Forks for the summer season in South America. They will be visiting Peru, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. They will also have a chance to go to a more southern pole than Chilly and I did, as they are going to Cape Horn in about 2 weeks. They left last Thursday, and are getting back the Sunday before Turkey Day. Three cheers for Ronnie for taking a month off of work! I got news for the plumbing wholesale industry of Grand Forks - THE BOSS IS OUT OF TOWN AND IM GIVING AWAY THE WHOOOOOOOOOLE STORE FOR FREE!!!!!!! Not really, but I just wanted to say it.

Last Thursday we also went to our October Dr. appointment. We learned that the baby is about the size of an eggplant, is breached, and folded up like a folding chair in there. Think a person falling into a crevice ass first, or a pike position as Chilly calls it, I like the ass in crevice analogy. Baby Goodman has taken up residence on the right side of Chilly's stomach and you can feel her head if you know what you're looking for...I'm still not sure if I do so I doubt you know what an unborn fetus head feels like if you haven't had one. I also had the chance to learn about pin worms. YUM!!!!!! If you dont know what that is, google at your own risk. Trust me, you never want your child to have them. Not that baby Goodman has them, I was just reading about gross baby things that nobody tells expecting parents. Alright, new topic.

We set a new record with 130 trick or treaters on Halloween, breaking the previous mark of 107 set last year. Max had a Halloween party with about 1000 attendees. Chilly and I were in attendance. I was dressed as a ninja and even had a real ultimate power shirt, for those unaware of real ultimate power go to http://www.realultimatepower.net/ to witness the power of the ninja. Chilly was a Geisha and looked great. We really fit in with all of the naughty nurses, naughty cops, naughty gangstas, notice emerging pattern of naughty here.

That about sums up our activity since the last post. Don't forget to vote tomorrow -McCain/Palin 08! No Obama love here, go hug a tree at a different blog. GET A JOB HIPPIES!

Much love - Brian & Chilly
