Sister = Friend

Two weeks ago when Chilly and Lilly were in Virginia, it was a Friday night and both her parents were working late. Unfortunately the extra car was at Arisa's so the two of us were home alone in the big house with nothing to do and nowhere to go.

Arisa (Chilly's sister) and Evan originally had a big night out planned that evening. Arisa called Chilly after work to see what was going on and upon hearing that the two of us were just going to hang at home, she immediately sent Evan from Arlington to Vienna to pick us up to bring back to Arlington to hang out with them at her place.

She cooked jambalaya (DELICIOUS!) and she and Evan and Bruno entertained us for the evening! We even watched Chilly's bad television choices - "16 and Pregnant".

This whole evening may seem pretty normal and ordinary - which for most it probably is - but after living in ND, especially when Brian is gone for work or away for the weekend and we're home alone with nobody here - the invitation and evening really meant a lot.

Thanks for making sure we weren't alone and a big thanks to Evan for driving back and forth and dealing with the carseat!
