First Word!

and the word is: KITTY!

Which Lilly has actually been saying for about two months.....we acknowledged that she would point to the cat and say "kitty" a few months ago... but we both tried in vain for her first word to be, "mama" or "dada" respectively and completely ignored the fact that she could in fact say a word.

She does say mama and dada...(sometimes) and she can definitely say "mum, mum" (Thai babyspeak for "eat") - which she picked up after spending the past two weeks with her Yai and Tha. But Princess Buttercup, Kiki (at grandparents Goodman) and Casey (at grandparents Tinaves) collectively have won the first word contest.
