Brian and I are down in Oahu for the NPS incentive trip! We've been to Maui and Big Island before and we're pretty sure we prefer those islands to Oahu. Oahu is also beautiful but has just as much concrete and traffic as Washington D.C.
We're staying at the JW Marriott on the Leeward Coast (west) and it's been pretty good so far. We've seen quite a few whales breaching and blowing from our balcony as it is whale season down here. Yesterday afternoon we walked along the rocky shoreline and saw sea turtles swimming and there's also been shark sightings in the ocean.
There's a Korean soap opera, "The Divine Hero" that's filming at the hotel, so there's been a lot of action with the camera crews, actors and translators running around.
