Richmond

This past weekend I travelled to VA by myself for Amy's wedding! While in Richmond I got to visit Pe-Pim, her husband Gary and her wonderful parents! It's always fun to catch up with people that you haven't seen in a long time... years even. Although it doesn't seem that way since we keep up with each other via blog. Don't you know, Wat Thai D.C. is forever!

Congratulations to my dear friend Amy Whitten! One of my best friends from college has finally tied the knot! Andrew, her husband is a great guy and has started his own peanut butter business, Reginald's Homemade! http://reginaldshomemade.com/store/ He makes all kinds of different flavors: bourbon & molasses, cinnamon, white chocolate pretzel (the wedding favor flavor) among others. He's in quite a few stores around Richmond already! Check it out. Their wedding was held at Tredegar Iron Works (a Civil War center) and was outdoors. The weather was beautiful (and just a tiny bit cold) - but that's what our wraps were for! Amy was a beautiful bride and I was so happy to be able to be a part of her big day.

Had SO much fun catching up with you too, chica!! Yes, Wat Thai DC is forever :) Amy looks beautiful in her gown and I bet her wedding was just gorgeous. Love your bridesmaid dress too and that outfit you wore for what I'm guessing was the Friday before :) is lovely - love the blouse!! Oh, PS - Na Amphan was super sweet...she cooked a couple of meals and brought them to my folks!! She made some khao tom for my dad and some pad prik-khing for my mom. That was tasty - I couldn't resist and had to try some!! Please tell her thank you for me again :)
