The Bug is nine months today!!! Yesterday we went to her nine month check up and Lilly is at the 50th percentile for weight at 18 lbs 8 oz, and between 50-75th percentile for both head circumference 17.5 " and for length, 28 ". The doctor also says that she's ahead developementally since she climbs stairs, pulls herself up to stand and likes to clap and look at books. We have yet to see any teeth, but all in all, we couldn't ask for a happier or healthier baby!
We recently submitted photos of Lilly to the Gap Casting Call. There is a fan favorite vote that is going on. You can register and then vote for Lilly everyday until Nov. 17. However, since voting has been going on since Sept., we're a little behind. That's ok though, the Gap judges could choose Lilly to be in the top 5 for baby girls and from that pool a winner is voted by the public for Gap ads. We'd rather have Lilly win that than "fan favorite" vote. Nonetheless, vote for Lilly!
Last weekend Chilly went to her 5th year reunion at William and Mary. It was hard for her to believe that it has already been five years since graduating. Williamsburg was as fantastic as it usually is and campus was beautiful in all its autumn glory. Chilly also represented the class of 2004 in the Homecoming parade. Having been in the Homecoming parade for Kappa and for cheerleading as an undergrad, Chilly wasn't thrilled about the 7am Saturday morning prep time. Thankfully she was able to force two of her roommates to get out of bed and participate with her.
Brian on the other hand, would've loved to been in the parade. In fact, we've already made sure that Brian is representing the class of 2005 in next year's parade! While Chilly was in the ' burg, Brian and Lilly spent the weekend together in Grand Forks. Brian took Friday off and was the "stay at home dad". The two of them had a great time running errands, practicing standing, taking baths and snuggling.
Vacations are nice, but we'd rather take them together!
