It may only be October 14th, but it's Grand Forks' first winter weather advisory! It's been snowing since 4pm and although it's too wet to really stick, there's talk that it may freeze tonight. And so begins the winter season up here in North Dakota! Our first snow was last Friday.
At the end of September we traveled to Minneapolis for cousin Jeff's wedding to Desra. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Widdell! The wedding weekend gave Lilly the opportunity to meet her Great-Grandpa Dale and cousin Haley! Lilly had a ball with Dale and even "broke" Haley in with the "Lilly treatment" when Haley was babysitting her. Lilly got to hang out with the triplets - which she loved!
October has our household amping up our physical activity. Brian and Lilly have started "Shrimp" swim lessons at the local YMCA. Lilly is the youngest child there, but she is definitely the best kicker! Brian is also getting a workout squatting in the shallow end while holding on to the squirmy Lillybug. Chilly has added Zumba dance class 3 times a week to her gym routine. There's a little bit of salsa, a little bit of hip-shaking and a lot of fun.
