September!

ready for fall
We've been busy since the first day of September! A few Fridays ago, we ventured as a family to the movies to see Inception. How did we do this with the Bug, you may ask? Well, we went to the Drive-In! An ad on Facebook (yes I actually look at those) prompted me to investigate the SkyVu Drive-In in nearby Warren, MN. We've both wanted to see Inception and we'd rather bring Lilly than leave her with babysitters so, it worked out for us on all fronts! Brian packed bags full of snacks and drinks and off we went. Inception was a great movie! Being in our own car was like being in our own living room. We just had to tune our radio to the right station to hear the movie and we did have to occasionally start the car to de-fog the front window. Lilly was asleep for the first part of the movie and woke up for the second half.

Lilly has also started her dance classes for the year. It's a mommy and me class, (the same as this past summer) and will go until May. Lilly was very happy to be back in the studio and this time 'round she'll be performing! Her winter recital will be on Dec. 10 and her spring recital will be on May 7. We'll be practicing our tippy toes and releves!

In other news, we had a belated celebration for Ron's birthday and Lilly's buddy Rody has been resurrected. We had to deflate Rody for his plane ride to GF from DC and somewhere along the way we misplaced his plug - which conveniently goes in his behind. I searched everywhere to see if I could buy the "butt-plug" separately and ended up just emailing customer service in Italy. They were wonderful and sent us a replacement plug all the way from Italy! We introduced Lilly to Thai fruit the other day. She was tickled by the texture of the rambutan and wasn't so sure about it - but once it was out of it's shell she loved it!

Rody rides again!

Woo hoo for Rody ridin again! P.S. Nothing like a butt plug from Italy...
