Pin the Feather on the Turkey

Since it Thanksgiving time, Lilly has been itching to  make a turkey. This is usually a hand-traced turkey, but since I get a million emails a day from Parents magazine, we decided to try one of their ideas last night. We made a construction turkey, cut out "feathers" and decorated them and then proceeded to play "Pin the Feather on the Turkey". It was great fun for all three of us and our turkey proudly hangs on the wall. Lilly has insisted that every photo that we took today be next to her turkey. We plan on making one for Thanksgiving day to play the game at Uncle Barry's house.
