Last Friday night the Park District hosted "A Knight for a Princess" - a date dance for any little girl and the important man in her life (dad, grandfather, uncle, etc.). So Lilly and her buddies went with their dads to the dance. Lilly was very excited for her big date. I gave her a manicure (blue nail polish of course), she chose to wear her black and white dress and we put her hair in curlers. She chose her dad's outfit (a black suit w/a black tie) and she explained to Bingo that this was HER special night with Dad. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for pictures and Grandma got them a corsage and a butioneere. Our friends Ella and Carson met us there as well for pictures before heading over to the Alerus Center where they met up with Jeremy and Ellie. The couples had a lovely time, danced, blew bubbles and then headed back to Grandparents Goodman for some Barbies and beer.
