Even though I was in Williamsburg for Charter Day weekend, I did not attend Charter Day or the Alumni Medallion Ceremony. William and Mary turned 318 years old! The Charter Day speaker was Eric Cantor the House Majority Leader and WM law grad '88. Apparently I missed out on seeing Colin Powell on Saturday morning at the Alumni Medallion Ceremony where his son, Michael Powell '85, was one of five honored alums.
Saturday evening back in NoVA we attempted to go Chuck E. Cheese, but the place was a zoo and had a line out the door. It was more packed than any bar I've ever been too. So we had Five Guys instead and it was yummy as always. And now, Grand Forks has a Five Guys! It officially opened yesterday at 11am.
Sunday we celebrated Tha's 65th birthday with family and delicious Thai food. Pe-Nib even made 2 huge pitchers of Thai Iced Tea for us! There was lots of loving on Bear and Lilly and the birthday boy.
