A sorority pledge sister of mine is employed by Johnson & Johnson and she sent out an email to everyone letting them know about a casting call for a project she's currently working on. The project is a coffee table book that will feature 50 babies (age 3-36 months) from across the country and their parents experiencing their everyday joys. Here's the gist of the "casting call":
Johnson's wants to know about the everyday moments that you experience with your child that bring joy to your home. Send recent photos. Looking for children from across the country.
What do you win if you child is chosen?
1. your child is featured in the book
2. a basket of lovely Johnson & Johnson products
3. there is also a chance that the photos and stories will also be featured in other publications and tv
I also googled this coffee book and found an article for a casting agency in California that stated that the book would be released around Mother's Day and it would be shown on a national television show.
The award-winning director and photographer is Michael Franzini. Rock the Vote, anyone?
Sounded easy enough. Why not enter, right? Who knows if Lilly would win out of the whole state? Then again - this IS North Dakota... who knows if there was even another entry??
Well, this evening I got the phone call that Lilly IS THE ONE!!! :)
The photographers are coming here March 1. Expect J&J Part II post after.

First she conquers North Dakota-- then slowly but surely.. the Bug will go GLOBAL. BTW, Bear wants a copy of the finished product for our coffee table.
