Good Bye Diapers!

It has happened!!!  The Bug is potty-trained! :)

About two weeks ago Lilly started #2-ing in the potty. That was when the breakthrough happened. She stopped hiding underneath the table to do it and started telling us when she had to go. Going  #1 took a little while longer to control. But going to school has really helped since the teachers take the kids every hour to the bathroom. The past couple of months she'd wear undies, but there'd be an ocassional accident. I also checked out a few books about using the potty which I think may have inspired her? Apparently Baby Kermit the Frog can potty so Lilly can too. Also, Aunt Denise suggested reading to her while #2-ing - and that also helped.

Since Sunday she's been in only undies, including at bedtime and they are always dry!!! We still ask her if she needs to go as a reminder, but she's pretty good about going straight to the bathroom or annoucing it. I have a super cute photo of her on the pot - but its inappropriate for the internet so sisters I will email it to you. She is beaming from ear to ear and pointing into the pot bc "she did it!"
