| Bingo at Week 32 |
We're entering into Week 34 of gestation on the Bingo front. Our scanner is having some issues so those recent ultrasound pictures of Bingo's face are going to have to wait. There's not a lot of room for Bingo in my tummy so you can see EVERY movement the kid makes. Lilly is getting more and more excited and we've made some progress on getting the nursery back to a nursery state. We also bought some newborn diapers. Those things are sooooo small! I have stopped teaching TurboKick for the time being - don't want to agitate Bingo in any way since there's still some traveling to be done! Let's hope Bingo stays put as we are flying to Orlando at the end of next week (Jan. 27)! The due date/time pool is open! $5 a slot - last time w/Lilly's pool TJ Polovitz won something like $150+ ....granted he won even though he was 8 days late of actual arrival! Get your bets into Brian ASAP.
Here is what Pregnancy Center has to say about week 34:
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
