Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve 2011 brought us to a church on the eve of Jesus' birthday. We headed to Calvary Lutheran with Great-Grandma Bernie and Great-Grandma Donna who was visiting from Minot. Because we scooted in 5 minutes before service started we were ushered to the very front. The candlelight service was very pretty and lots of Christmas songs were sung. We then headed to Grandparents Goodman for a delicious Christmas Eve dinner of lobster and Ron's famous Jack Daniels' prime rib . Lilly's biggest highlight of the night? We were hoping it'd be the church service with all the singing and the candles, but alas she fell asleep in the middle of the service. (maybe we should stick to Buddhism) The biggest highlight of Lilly's night was opening her present from Great-Grandma Bernie - her own wheeled carry-on luggage in a Disney Princess theme of course!! She also really dug the Uno Moo game from Great-Grandma Donna. We spent the rest of the evening playing Uno Moo.
