Lilly's 3 Year Old Stats

Took Lilly to her 3 year old check up before we left for Orlando. Here are her stats:

New Pediatrician: Dr. Amber Heise

Weight: 31.8 lbs

Height: 36 3/4 inches

Blood Pressure: 96/52

This was the first time she's ever had her blood pressure taken. She was an excellent patient and very good interested in everything the doctor was doing. Perhaps we have a future doctor in our midst? Dr. Heise said Lilly is in excellent health and advanced for her age. GO LILLY! :)

From our point of view: Lilly has been potty-trained since she was a little shy of 2.5 years old. She now enjoys having "privacy" when she needs to go. She's a chatterbox! Her comprehension of what's going on around her is astounding. She is inquisitive, deliberates and understands cause and effect. She's a bit OCD - (loves having things in a very particular order/way) and is very imaginative. We think there's some underlying jealousy?/concern? that she won't be the baby anymore. She has insisted the past two weeks that we refer to her as "baby" and she needs affirmation that she is still a baby - NOT a big girl. She recognizes the letter L and can count past 10, but sometimes (and I think she does it on purpose to irk me) she'll count 1,2,3, 7,8,9. She desperately wants to learn how to read and asks every day about the "hot lava". She has a great memory! She's very good at following directions and she knows "we don't say hate. that's not nice". She's also very good about apologizing and then "hugging it out". She enjoys family hugs and is super excited to be a big sister to Baby Bingo. She also enjoys singing - everything....sometimes the lyrics are "I'm poooooooooping...on the toilet!" and she loves to dance. She is cautious about things and can be a scaredy-cat, until you make her do it and then she loves it! She is a stubborn little chica though, knows what she wants and can throw a tantrum with the best of them. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite Disney princesses are Cinderella and Rapunzel. She still loves watching Toy Story but anything and everything Barbie is finding a top spot on her list of favorites. Her kitchen is a favorite toy too - she enjoys cooking meals and serving tea all day long. She's a big meat-eater - loves pepperoni, sausage, steak...not so keen on the veggies, except for peas...LOVES them.

She's our princess!

Umm.. you forgot CORN. I watched that kid wolf down at least 3 cobs at a lobster clambake. She loves it almost as much as BaJubs!

Happy 3.0 Lillers!

Bear & BaJubs will see you soon!
