Guess what?!?!
For my birthday Lilly SIGNED "MORE" to me!!!
After a few months of periodically signing "more" to Lilly, (one of the few signs I've picked up), I resigned myself to the realization that Brian and I are not going to be like the other parents of Lilly's peers.
We don't sign, we don't eat organic or make our own baby food and we're ok with giving Lilly McDonald's french fries. In fact - EVERYONE in the house benefits when we're eating McDonald's!
So this morning, Lilly was eating a bowl of watermelon for breakfast. It was empty so I asked (no signing involved) if she'd like some more.
and then....
she put her little hands together and signed "MORE"!
YAY!!!

Yay! It is awesome that you are teaching her to sign and at the same time allowing her to enjoy fast food. Because - the way I see it - when you send a kid to school with ground cauliflower and egg white sandwiches on flax seed bread with organic almond butter and celery for 'dessert' than she is just going to resort to stealing someone else's Cheetos.
